Founded in 1991 by Steven J. Green, former United States Ambassador to Singapore, the Green Family Foundation (GFF) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting social programs that positively impact global health and alleviate poverty.
The Green Family Foundation’s mission is to make a positive and meaningful impact in communities both at home and abroad. GFF provides funding and resources to organizations that support education, global health, and community development. GFF empowers under-served communities to fight the cycle of extreme poverty, leading to sustainable programs that improve lives.
GFF supports grassroots initiatives that provide quality care to those in need by focusing on prevention, education, and treatment. The foundation empowers communities through grants that enable progressive organizations to help build self-reliance. Today, Kimberly Green, president, continues to advance her family’s vision.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and its volunteer advisory board, the Cultural Affairs Council, develop cultural excellence, diversity and participation throughout Miami-Dade County by strategically creating and promoting opportunities for our community’s thousands of artists and not-for-profit cultural organizations, and our residents and visitors who are their audiences.

Art of Black Miami is a marketing platform and destination driver that showcases the diversity of the visual arts locally, nationally, and internationally, celebrating the black diaspora. This initiative highlights the artistic cultural landscape found in Miami’s heritage neighborhoods and communities year-round throughout Greater Miami and the Beaches.
MBF is a nonprofit organization designed to advance economic development in Miami through the support of minority businesses and education.

Located midway between Miami and Palm Beach in downtown Fort Lauderdale’s arts and entertainment district, NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale is a premier destination for exhibitions and programs encompassing many facets of civilization’s visual history.
The Wege Foundation, based in Grand Rapids, was founded by Peter M. Wege in 1967. Its mission is to “plant seeds that develop leaders in economicology, health, education and arts and enhance the lives of people in West Michigan and around the world.” The Foundation grants approximately $18 million per year guided by the Themes & Goals adopted by its Board of Trustees, which include Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and promoting civic engagement.
Philadelphia Contemporary presents cross-disciplinary art through a dynamic model of collaboration and partnership. Since 2016, we have offered a robust program of pop-up exhibitions and performances across the Philadelphia area in collaboration with various partner organizations, while working towards building a new permanent home.
Museum Hue, an organization that works to increase diversity in patrons, professionals, and cultural producers in the creative economy, recognizes the absence of diversity and inclusion in cultural enclaves. We use our presence and voice to counter this reality, foster agency, and write new narratives for people of color in culture.
The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) uses the visual and performing arts as a point of departure for exploring new artistic production across a variety of disciplines. Through exhibitions, community programming and educational initiatives centered in social justice, MoCADA incites dialogue on pressing social and political issues facing the African Diaspora and fosters a dynamic space for the creation and continuous evolution of culture.
The Bass, Miami Beach’s contemporary art museum, creates connections between international contemporary art and the museum’s diverse audiences. The Bass shares the power of contemporary art through experiences that excite, challenge, and educate.
The Atlanta University Center Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective prepares undergraduate students at Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College for careers in the visual arts. The four-week sponsored Early College Program is designed to encourage rising junior and senior high school students of color to pursue undergraduate studies in art history and curatorial studies. Housed within the Department of Art and Visual Culture at Spelman College, this innovative program aims to shape the future of the art world and position the Atlanta University Center as the leading producer of African American professionals in these fields.
